Ironically the film went not with a bang but a whimper. Another film that felt consistently undercooked in all aspects, and was riddled with cliché's. With one dimensional characters and Kieffer Sutherland doing a funny voice, there isn't much to like in this movie that isn't completely forgettable.
The ever present Volcano in the background also undercuts any sort of story or tension. Due to the fact that you know its going to erupt and everything preceding that is worthless.
With CGI that just failed to pop visually and everything else being sort of forgettable, it just forms a never boring or particularly entertaining movie.
